Mary Beth SpeaksAs I reflect on the history of Harmonic Riding & Equine Integral Movement™, I experience a deep appreciation for every person, horse and event that guided, challenged, encouraged, and doubted the potential for this work to fundamentally change both humans and horses, alike. I also appreciate each time the horses reminded us that we actually knew much less than we thought. This has been a very humbling path to take, and I have been humbled, along it, so many times. My first horse, Nubbins, was a beautiful bay Morgan cross. Nubbins gave me my first experience in English riding and jumping. Along the way, my father diagnosed Nubbins with "ringbone". My father said there was nothing that could be done and that eventually she would not be rideable. I could not imagine not riding her and decided there must be a cure for this disease... more |
